In my work, storytelling serves as a method to uncover the consequences of painful pasts, allowing a shift from the personal to the structural. I work with both still and moving images, critically examining the medium of photography in its role as a carrier of memory. Archival images, interviews, texts, and staged memories intersect. While I capture the external, my gaze is directed inward. Something becomes visible: what was repressed manifests in the present.
